Andrea’s Take

The New Passepartout Happy was born from YOU! I had so many requests for a bag sized to fit between the ANDI Large and The Weekender. I wanted this to be a super packable bag - and so I imagined my ideal beach bag - because if it can handle a family trip to the beach, it could handle almost anything. But it needed to be more than just a big bag. It had to go wherever I go: yoga, co-working, gym, travel. It needed pockets big enough for a laptop or iPad Pro, plus the kind of open space that swallows your day without losing your essentials. Since our materials for this were limited (our structured recycled “denim”), I wanted this to be made with our U.S.-based team at Mile High Workshop.

With a lot of collaboration with our team, we made it happen and I could not be more proud. The first iteration of The Passepartout Happy, made with our remaining grey denim fabric, sold out almost instantaneously. And so we are bringing it back with what’s left of our blue denim, hence the limited quantity available.

And what makes it truly meaningful is who makes it. Each bag is sewn in Colorado by the incredible team members of Esperanza Productions at Mile High Workshop—organizations that empower people through second-chance employment and hands-on skill-building.

I fell in love with this bag the moment I held the first prototype. It pained me to send it off to Alessandro for photos! Since then, The Passepartout comes with me everywhere—big work days, soccer games, family outings, the gym, quick overnights and OF COURSE, the beach! It’s become the bag I reach for without thinking—because it just works, for everything.

UPCYCLED. UPLEVELED.

The New Passepartout Happy is not mass-produced—it’s a limited edition crafted by hand by the Esperanza Productions team at Mile High Workshop from orphaned premium fabrics. Every detail matters—from reinforced seams to oversized utility pockets (yes, it fits an iPad Pro), to its smooth foldable construction that disappears when not in use. It’s durable, thoughtfully designed, and finished with the intention to serve you beautifully, wherever life takes you. No shortcuts. Just solid craft.

Perfect size!

I’m soooo happy about this new bag — the perfect size between the large and the weekender! I also love that it has 2 handle drop options, and the clasp things to close the top gap and give it a sleeker look & feel while carrying. It’s a durable canvas, and I’m super happy to report it does NOT seem to attract or hold lint and pet hair! Love how the stars on the shorter straps add a subtle flair. This is now my everyday go-to bag.

Mary Poppins bag

I'd been hoping the grey/pink version with the rainbow trim would come back in stock but when there was a recent promo I clicked buy on the black one. Great bag - very spacious and the canvas fabric gives it a little more heft/structure than the other ANDIs that are made with nylon. I'm looking forward to tossing this into my bag when I travel to bring home souvenirs - and also to bringing it to the beach and grocery store or farmer's market this summer!

Exceeds my expectations

I took a chance on a new brand and new silhouette and it paid off! The fabrics is more tough than I expected, which makes it more structured which I love! Only improvement is to add a snap at the top between the short handles so you can keep the bag closed and fastened together.
